The Evening Potato Fair opens in Plaça Major with a performance by the Sa Pobla Town Band.

From 7:30 PM onwards

The Potato Festival, or Fira de La Patata, is an annual homage to Sa Pobla’s most cherished agricultural product. This year’s fair commemorates 180 years since the introduction of potato cultivation in Sa Pobla in 1845 by Agustí Serra of “Can Cristo”. Since then, the potato has become central to the town’s identity, economy, and culinary traditions.

The town will transform into a hub of activity, featuring an array of traditional and innovative potato dishes crafted by local chefs. This festival is not just about savouring delicious food; it’s a celebration of Sa Pobla’s heritage and community spirit. A nighttime gastronomic fair, over 20 food stalls serve creative and traditional dishes, complemented by live performances and local culture.
